January Jones called out United Airlines for offering her $15 food vouchers following a 16-hour flight delay.
The âMad Menâ actress took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to share a screengrab from the airlineâs app that showed her flight was âestimatedâ to depart in a whopping 16 hours and 25 minutes.
âDo better @united,â she captioned the snap. âA couple $15 food vouchers isnât gonna cut it. Our 7:30p flt last night still hasnât left.â
Jones, 47, followed up her screenshot with a photo of her lying on the floor of an airport with her head resting on a backpack.
âIs there still a secretary of transportation? Canât remember whatâs left..â she captioned the picture.
Jonesâ commentary was meant to shade President Trump, who has laid off thousands of federal employees ââ including people at the Department of Transportation. Trump chose former U.S. representative Sean Duffy as the transportation secretary in January.
A United Airlines rep told Page Six that regional airline SkyWest was responsible for the flight.
âOn Saturday, SkyWest Flight 5087, operating as United Express from Los Angeles International Airport to Prescott Regional Airport was delayed overnight due to a mechanical issue,â a SkyWest Airlines rep told Page Six Monday.
âPassengers were provided with hotel and meal vouchers and compensation before the flight departed Sunday on a different aircraft. We apologize for the inconvenience,â they concluded.
Jones did not share an update on her whereabouts, so itâs unclear if she boarded a flight to Arizona.
The âLove Actuallyâ star joined a slew of celebrities and reality TV stars who have vocalized their dissatisfaction with airlines over the years.
Most recently, Jessica Chastain faced backlash for calling out JetBlueâs attempts to compensate her for being unable to offer her inflight entertainment throughout a six-hour flight.
