Screaming, crying and throwing up over Kelvin Banks Jr.’s baby’s reaction to his dad getting picked to play for the New Orleans Saints in the 2025 NFL Draft.

During the televised event Thursday, Banks Jr. — a Texas Longhorns offensive tackle — was selected as the ninth overall pick.

Cameras captured the moment the 21-year-old football star and his family got the exciting news, as everyone immediately smiled, shouted and showered an emotional Banks Jr. with congratulatory pats and hugs.

His partner, Demetria Bolden, who was sitting beside him, clapped and cheered while cradling their months-old son, Khalil, in her arms.

During the celebration, however, a sleepy Khalil spit up, and the relatable parenting moment quickly went viral online.

“We just had a baby throw up during the NFL Draft,” one X user posted alongside a video of the moment, making sure to point out, “I got two under 4. I get thrown up on or spit up on daily.”

While someone quipped that “baby vomit is good luck” and called the infant a “Future Hall of Famer,” a critic argued, “This has to be a bad omen.”

Another netizen joked, “Kelvin Banks the 3rd thinks the #saints isn’t a good fit,” as someone else echoed, “I’d throw up too if someone I knew got drafted by New Orleans.”

Banks Jr. and Bolden announced their pregnancy in November 2024 when they uploaded a joint Instagram post featuring photos from her baby shower.

It’s unclear when Khalil was born.
