Ben Affleck gushed over Jennifer Garner after their cozy paintball outing sent fans into a frenzy.

The “Gone Girl” star name-dropped his ex-wife while talking to GQ about how he handles being a tabloid fixture.

After lamenting that it is “absurd and ridiculous” that the “day-to-day events” of his life are constantly photographed, Affleck said in his April 2025 cover story, published Tuesday, that he is focused on being the one who truly knows “what’s going on in” his life.

“We used to have a thing, my ex-wife and I, when they would see something on a supermarket stand, we would say, well, ‘You know this isn’t always true because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said that your mom was pregnant,’” he added, referencing his children with Garner: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.

“And I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,” the actor explained, adding that dealing with the constant rumors about his life is a “headache more than anything else.”

Earlier this month, Affleck and Garner, both 52, set tongues wagging when they were spotted getting close at a paintball field while celebrating their youngest son’s birthday.

At the time, the Oscar winner was photographed wrapping his arms around his ex-wife’s waist and pulling her in while she pointed her gun.

Although Garner did not return the brace, she notably did not pull away.

They were married from 2005 to 2018.

A source later told Page Six exclusively that Affleck “would definitely be open to giving things another shot with Jen if the timing is ever right.”

“At the same time, Ben knows it’s just not realistic at this time in their lives,” the insider added.

A second source noted that “the feeling is not mutual on Jen’s side,” adding, “She’s happy with [her boyfriend] John [Miller], and that’s just not where her head is at.

“She has a great co-parenting relationship with Ben, and that’s where things stand on her end at the moment,” the second insider told us.

Garner has been dating Miller on and off since 2018, while Affleck settled his divorce from his second wife, Jennifer Lopez, earlier this year.

A third source told The Post in early March that both Jennifers are “relieved to be done” with the “Argo” star.

“Ben’s an emotional roller coaster. He’s even been reaching out to Jennifer [Lopez] again recently. The two Jennifers are actually friends. They bonded over co-parenting their kids. I don’t know why the press feels they have to pit women against each other,” the insider said.

The source made sure to reiterate that neither Garner nor Lopez, 55, is interested in getting back with Affleck.
