Bella Hadid has become the second It-girl to rock this iconic silver number.
After making her mark on the Cannes Film Festival 2025 red carpet last week with freshly-dyed blond hair, the supermodel, 28, traveled over to London to launch her Orabella fragrance line abroad.
For the Friday launch event held at the Sessions Arts Club, Hadid brought a piece of the film festival’s history with her — courtesy of her shimmering silver chainmail dress.
The metallic number is nearly as old as Hadid, originally from the John Galliano 1997 collection; And it was previously worn by actress and model Milla Jovovich to the French film festival that same year.
The high-low midi dress features a V-neck, metallic floral details and liquid-like draping.
While Jovovich went jewelry-free and wore the same strappy sandals as seen on the Galliano runway, Hadid put her own ultra-sparkly spin on the style.
She accessorized with a diamond tennis necklace and dangling heart-shaped diamond earrings from Chopard. Hadid opted for Jimmy Choo metallic pumps ($1,075) on her feet.
She wore her hair in a slicked-back bun and rocked very natural glam, featuring glowy skin and a brown smoky eye.
Hadid has become the star of the Cannes Film Festival in recent years, thanks to her extravagant outfits.
In 2016, she nearly showed it all in a red Alexandre Vauthier gown with a scary-high slit that now makes her “embarrassed.” And, in 2021, Hadid took our breath away, literally, in a Schiaparelli couture gown adorned with striking gold “lungs.”
Plus, she chose the glamorous affair to make her return to the red carpet after a year-long hiatus — and did so in a completely sheer nude YSL dress last year.
Even with this year’s strict dress-code banning “nudity,” Hadid found a way to remain the talk of the town, pairing her slinky backless Saint Laurent gown with massive emerald earrings and her newly lightened hair.
